That Good Club
Maybe you’re not that bad. Maybe you’re just that good.
The life and career conversations we only ever have behind closed doors.
The Angle
Sound familiar?
It’s not that you don’t believe in yourself. It’s just that you exhaust yourself proving you do, and yet you still can’t let yourself enjoy it.
Too many brilliant women shrink themselves out of habit. They qualify their opinions, undersell their performance, and wait for permission that was never coming in the first place. This project is about the ones who stopped waiting — and the real, specific stories of how they got there.
Each issue, we sit down with a woman who is unapologetically, undeniably that good and we ask her how she got out of her own way. No imposter syndrome spiral. Just women owning their greatness and showing you how to own yours.
You did the work. You just won’t let yourself have it.
What to expect
- ✦ Conversations with accomplished women who can't stop moving the goalposts
- ✦ Honest takes on overworking, perfectionism & burnout
- ✦ A sharper way to recognize when you' already that good
The Founder
Hi, I’m Alex.
I started That Good Club because I was tired of being told Imposter Syndrome was about not believing in yourself. I believed in myself. I just couldn’t stop.
The overworking, the self-imposed moving goalposts, the inability to sit with a win for more than five minutes. I kept meeting brilliant women who felt exactly the same way, and none of us were talking about it honestly.
So I started asking. These are their stories.
